Whatever your standard or aspirations I can help you to learn to play the piano. If you want to study for examinations I can take you up to Piano Grade 8 and Theory up to Grade 5 (GCSE standard). I use the Associated Board Examinations which are accepted as the Gold Standard for music examinations.
Based in Southend I am a very experienced teacher with loads of patience. Whether you want to learn for examinations or just for pleasure I can provide you with tailor made tuition.
I enjoy teaching both children and adults - a sensible age for children to start learning is from around five years old. A good guide is whether they are able to read independently, as learning to play the piano is like learning a language. There is no maximum age for adults - just a willingness to learn and practise regularly.
I am fully CRB checked and will either teach you or your children in your own home (provided you have a suitable instrument) or you can come to my home in Shoebury.
